First John McCain’s brother, Joe McCain, called Northern Virginia “communist country,” and now they’re running with this hilarious “NoVa is fake Virginia” narrative:
So this is how they believe they’re going to somehow win Virginia, by insulting us?

I simply do not understand the value of negative campaigning. I’m all for thoughtful objections but the McCain/Palin approach is mindless.

I understand that negative campaigning works (usually) and I understand “spin” and what have you. What I don’t understand is flat out lying and on top of that launching negative campaigns against VOTERS (ie calling residents of certain areas of the U.S. “communists” and “fake”).
